The Weekly Trainer Ride

We all know no one really 'likes' the trainer, so come suffer in company! Starting November 7 our Weekly Road Ride turns into the Weekly Trainer Ride! All are welcome. Workout will begin at 6:15pm and usually be 45-60 minutes.

This is a free workout. Just bring your bike and bring your trainer. We do have a few trainers you can borrow if you don't have your own. These are reserved on a first come first serve basis the week of the trainer ride. All we ask is a small $5 donation if you want, but it's not required.

Goldsprints

Goldsprints are back! Again!

Join us Saturday, February 8 for the second annual Goldsprints at Spoken! Our favorite announcers Scot and Julie Hermann will be here to MC the evening.

ABOUT THE RACES:

The races we be broken down into 2 categories: experienced and beginner, with each of those having a men’s and women’s category. Beginner means you’ve done less than 5 races ever (any type of race be it road, CX, MTB). If you have more than 5 races under your belt you’re racing in the experienced category! We will have qualifying rounds for each category and the top times will move onto an elimination round with the top 2 going head to head for glory! Everyone is guaranteed one sprint for qualifying rounds - it’s up to you to spin your legs fast to move onto the elimination rounds!

We will also feature a crowd favorite ‘Triathlon’ event. This will be an open category featuring running, drinking, and biking. Triathlon will sell out at 20 participants - so register early!

Bring your sprinting legs! It will be a night to remember!

Although registering early is not required, if you know you’ll be joining us kindly fill out the form below to help us prepare.

Spoken Bicycles Spectacle of Lights

Join us for the third annual Spoken Bicycles Spectacle of Lights! 

Deck yourself and your bike out in all things glowing and bright!

At 8 p.m. sharp on Saturday, December 14 we all will “glow” together as we take a cruise through downtown Middletown, over to Smith Park, and around Light Up Middletown. This is not a race, it is a parade of glowing bikes, and all riders are welcome. Minors must be accompanied by a glowing parent.

Come for the glow, stay for the glory! There are three categories you can enter yourself in to win a coveted trophy and some free swag!

  1. Brightest Glow: Shine bright like a diamond.

  2. Best Glowing Duo: Think matching costumes on a tandem bike.

  3. Crazy & Creative Ride: The weirdest or most outrageous mode of transportation.

To enter to win you must be a registered rider with an assigned number. To be official, please complete the form below to and plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ride route to get your number. We will depart from the shop, located at 1201 Central Ave in downtown Middletown.

Hang out afterwards for a glowing afterparty at Spoken Bicycles!

Do you have old bikes collecting dust in your garage? Have you been looking for something to do with them besides just throwing them in the trash??

Well, you're in luck! This year for Giving Tuesday we will be collecting your old bikes and donating them to Bicycles For All in Dayton. Every bike you donate will earn some dollars towards a new one from us!

It doesn't matter what condition they are in! Drop them off and we'll get them donated for you. If you're unable to drop them off on Tuesday, December 3 please get in touch with us to make other arrangements.
